Vera Canevazzi served as a member of the jury for the “L’arte di Informare” painting competition, organized by the Lombardy Association of Journalists to mark the 135th anniversary of its founding.
On April 13, 2026, an awards ceremony was held to present prizes and certificates of participation to the art high school students who took part in the initiative.
Sofia Trotta and Wang Lucia Shan Shan (both from the IIS Pandini – Piazza Institute in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano) were the students awarded first and second place, respectively. Yiguo Chen (from the IIS Paolo Frisi Liceo Gastel Institute) took third place.
The jury consisted of Anna Del Freo, a journalist and former staff member of *Il Sole 24 Ore* and vice president of ALG; Vera Canevazzi, an art consultant and lecturer on the art market; Nino Materi, an art journalist for *Il Giornale*; and Giorgio Galimberti, a photojournalist and photographer specializing in street photography.
