Federico Rui Arte Contemporanea presents Rae Martini's solo exhibition "TEMPOFORMA," curated by Ilaria Bignotti. The exhibition introduces the public for the first time to Rae Martini's research on "Modulari," works formed by a composition of papers worked by the artist that come from books at least two centuries old. The artist, fascinated by the material they carry with them, a sign of their survival to the wear and tear of time, selects dozens of pages from them to compose a visual pattern formed by several juxtaposed elements, on which she then intervenes with operations of painting, gluing, and burning.
