The Lercaro Collection and the Brescia SantaGiulia Academy of Fine Arts are pleased to present Soglie, an exhibition of contemporary art featuring artists Anna Cancarini, Valery Franzelli and Giovanni Rossi. The event is organized by young curators Eleonora Bianchi, Stefy Garzoni and Giulia Andrea Gerosa, students in the first year of the two-year specialized course in Communication and Art Didactics for Museums at the Brescia Academy.
Running through April 28, 2024, the exhibition aims to investigate the concept of liminality through the works of the three young artists. Shadows, lights and transparencies come together to explore the visible and the invisible, inner and outer worlds, those small Leibnizian perceptions that can only be sensed from a few glimpses of Reality. A distorted, nonlinear, yet fluid and impalpably timeless reality, sublimated into works of suspended time.
