FINAL CRITICS 2025
A+B Gallery - Corsetto Sant'Agata 22, Brescia - Staircase C, second floor
Opening: June 26, 6-8 p.m.
Exhibition period: June 26 - 28, 2025

Artists: Yarid Bandilli, Giacomo Freddi, Sabrina Galli, Paolo Rampulla, Francesco Salvi, Giulia Viganò, Angelica Zamblera.

From June 26 to June 28, 2025, A+B Gallery hosted a group exhibition of young artists from the first year of the two-year specialist program in Contemporary Visual Arts at the Brescia SantaGiulia Academy of Fine Arts. The project is realized thanks to the collaboration with A+B Gallery and the shared vision of a contemporary art that is open, critical and deeply connected with research and the territory.

The exhibition brings together a selection of works that reflect on memory, identity, perception and the relationship between body and environment. Each artist proposes a personal vision that is translated into different languages - from painting to performance, photography to installation - offering a choral and sensitive cross-section of our present. An intimate and at the same time collective investigation, where the artistic gesture becomes an instrument of listening, resistance, questioning.

On the morning of June 26, the Final Critics, a pivotal moment of the training course, was held. Students presented their research to three professionals from the art system: Camilla Remondina (curator), Elisabetta Roncati (art consultant and art sharer), Milena Zanetti (gallery owner and curator). The meeting offered an open dialogue, useful to consolidate the expressive language of each artist. Over the years, Final Critics has been held in prestigious venues such as C.AR.M.E in Brescia, Museo Collezione Paolo VI in Concesio and Museo Lercaro in Bologna, with the participation of prominent critics and curators.

Coordination: Vera Canevazzi and Marco La Rosa, with support from Sara Munari, Andrea Mariconti and Daniela Zangrando.
