Vera Canevazzi Art Consulting estimated the prestigious collection of Ente Raccolta Vinciana in Milan, recognized worldwide as one of the main centers of reference for the study of Leonardo da Vinci.

The collection includes 7,800 volumes, 1,315 pamphlets, 50 engravings, and 5,780 photographs, including such rare 16th-century publications as Friar Luca Pacioli's "Divina proportione" (1509), Giovan Paolo Lomazzo's "Treatise on the Art of Painting" (1584), and Albrecht Dürer's "Istitutionum geometricarum" (1525). The Collection also holds manuscripts of exceptional historical value, including Leonardo Vinci's "Treatise on Painting" (dated between the 15th and 16th centuries), a "Collection of Abacus Texts" (13th-15th centuries, various authors), and facsimile editions of Leonardo's manuscripts and a photo library containing images of lost or restored works.

The entire holdings were estimated with particular attention to the most valuable volumes, for which detailed files were prepared documenting their rarity and historical value. For more homogeneous materials, such as photographic collections and ordinary volumes, we adopted an approach based on shelf estimates, supplementing the analysis with an in-depth comparison with the antiquarian market in order to ensure an accurate valuation.
